The Oni Drimare (also known simply as Oni) are a race within the Drimare Universe, originating from Haruyama. They are part of the Monster Drimare subspecies group and are directly based on the Oni from Japanese folklore, an ogre-like creature with a single or multiple horns emerging from their heads, sharp claws and wild hair.
Unlike the Yokai which they are based on, the Oni are peaceful folk, sadly having been eradicated by a hateful warrior named Guro.
They are said to be completely extinct, with the exception of the siblings Yuri and Akui, as well as Guro himself (Who is technically undead).
Aside from them, no other individuals have been found.
Appearance[]
The Oni Drimare are easily recognizable by their large tusks and bold colourful appearance
Skin[]
Their skins that can come in a variety of different tones, red, jade and blue being some of the most common.
Other known variants are (but aren't limited to) purple, white and orange.
It is not uncommon to see Oni using kabuki-inspired makeup and some even have natural face markings to them
Horns[]
Oni horns can come in different shape and sizes, as well as in numbers usually between one and two (three horns can happen but it's very uncommon)
The horn's colour always matches that of their skin tone, having a different colour on the horns' tip.
The horns seem to be firm and have a smooth texture.
Eyes[]
Oni Drimare have a very limited range of eye colours, usually ranging between yellow and reddish-orange at the very least.
Their scleras are fully coloured and they have thin round black pupils to them.
Exceptions to this rule are very rare.
Teeth[]
The most distinguishable characteristic of the Oni are their large tusks, regardless of gender and age, the tusks are their most prominent feature, always sticking out from the corner of their mouths. Alongside the tusks, all their teeth are very sharp.
Limbs[]
Oni Drimare have strong and clawed hands, however, on their feet, they only have two toes, similar to the hooves of a boar.
Hair[]
Much like their skin tones, their hair colours can also have a variety of different colours. Typically an Oni's hair is also a lot wilder than the ones from regular Drimare, being almost thick and mane-like.
Build[]
They typically have an average to tall height and strong builds. They're also usually physically stronger than a most Drimare.
Clothing[]
Being born in Haruyama, they typically tend to dress in traditional Japanese inspired outfits.
Life Cycle[]
Oni Drimare are one of the few Drimare subspecies that cannot procreate with other species. The reason for this is because I said so unknown.
They can live as long as the average human unless some sort of magic or another condition is involved, in which their lifespan can be artificially increased.

They originate from Haruyama, no Oni Drimare have been spotted living outside of it
