Root is the main Reaper and self-proclaimed guardian of the Rem Forest, taking over after the original First Reaper Asriel, maintaining the order, as well as keeping track of any lost souls that might be around in order to send them to the Afterlife.
Although he is part of the First Reapers, Root chooses to live among the living. He has turned quite a few Reapers to help tend to the souls of the forest, but as they move on after their time has been served, Root would rather keep on living.
Appearance
a tree and very tall
Personality
Root is a loner being and is hardly one for conversation, often acting cold and distant, and not always able to relate to emotional displays and outbursts, as he often forgets that not everyone is an ageless being like him
As time went on, he became a very detached being, and is hardly interested in approaching anyone or building any kind of meaningful relationship. He is very focused on his job and usually uninterested by anything that is not related to it.
