The Sleep Valley is a small magical district, located between the Rem Forest and the Blue Kingdom of Amaranth. It is notable for its purple hues and magical aura. It is commonly mistaken as a district in Amaranth, but this isn't really the case.
History[]
Warning - Dubiously canon
Ancient Drimare began to leave the Rem Forest and exploring, coming across the Sleep Valley and making it their home. However, as Amaranth was founded and the inhabitants of the Sleep Valley began to move out of it, it became more of a place to rest for travelers.
Also those who don't want to deal with Amaranthian rules will also move here.
Why did it not become an extension of Amaranth? A mystery

There's a very specific species of regular butterflies that's native to this region. Their wings look like petals and when they get together it looks like flowers or leaves :)

Brew's Shop[]
A shop selling all sort of magical and regular artifacts. It's specifically located in the main road between Amaranth and the Rem Forest and it's basically impossible to miss
Alfred's Observatory[]
Have you ever wondered how space works in DU? So does Alfred. How does a canonically flat world get stars? Does the dream realm extend to other planets? DU is already infinite, so it would make sense that the same would apply to space? Shrug
Cordelia and Cornelius' home[]
A valley with sheep on it :) Yes the Sheep Drimare look after regular animal sheep. It's not as uncommon as one would think. Also a place where they do magic I guess.
Nyx's hospital[]
Not really a hospital but like, if you're sick, this is your go-to place. The main nurse tends to be unavailable during full moons, but her assistants are usually around :)
Note to self - Sick folks in the Rem Forest will also go here because it's close enough to be convenient
Rosália's Church[]
I don't think it's her church, but yeah pfff. Drimare religion is like... believing only the gods are allowed to use magic. Feels a bit odd to place it on such a magical region but oh well :')
Trivia[]
- The Sleep Valley was one of the first regions to established after the Rem Forest. It was created to be the living place for Cordelia and Cornelius.
- It was initially named "Shleep Valley" as a reference to the Shleep from the NiGHTS series, later getting renamed to its current reiteration.
