To Do List

Here are the current tasks and things that are planned to be added to the Wiki eventually

I'd rather be in charge of the tasks involving the creation of original writing, but I don't mind getting help on any other minor organizing tasks! :) Help is always welcome!

General

• Add missing Character Profiles
• Spell check and clean up crusty old writing
• Write category pages
• Species pages!
• Figure out how to change the preview text for the wiki when I share a link to it I think it's fixed?? Confirm
• Finish drawing birthday chibis for the main page, it totally won't take forever :)
• AU Pages? I don't make as many of those as I did back in the day, but they existed.
• Pages about specific picture videos?? Need that Alice of Nightmaren Sacrifice lore
• Find a mobile alternative for gallery links and notice templates (but that doesn't show up on browser???)
  • We got the gallery links down! Now about the notices... Note to self, ask in forums for advice.
    • Idea - Use the mobile menu template code and shove a notice template on it to see if anything shows up
• Main page has different sized text on mobile?? What's up with that??
• Add a character quote thingy like the sonic wiki has Done!
  • Characters who have their quote in their image caption will just have it moved to this future quote template
• Blog posts on main page?? An excuse to finally write more of those?
• Add zodiac sign symbols to characters who are currently missing them in their infobox
  • For future copy paste. Use these specifically: ♈︎ ♉︎ ♊︎ ♋︎ ♌︎ ♍︎ ♎︎ ♏︎ ♐︎ ♑︎ ♒︎ ♓︎
• Add character chibies on the character Appearance tab. Like this
  • Make sure the chibi isn't taller than the description text as to not push the tab below
• All instances of "Nameless" parents/siblings/etc on the infoboxes should be changed to "Unnamed". I know people get it by context, but it's cleaner this way
• Consider removing the "library/" from the stories and add something else? Like "Solo (Story)" instead of "Library/Solo". Saves me the work of having to write redirects for the stories and also makes them easier to find
  • Okay, we're doing that now. Don't forget to delete Library when done if no other ideas come up for it

• We got the main page, gallery, library and video subpages for the characters. Is it worth it to create a comics one?
  • Because like,
    • It fits both in the library and in the gallery
      • But it's still it's own thing. mmm consider
• Add audio clips for the name pronunciations? Mostly for those characters who have names that might be easy to mispronounce. Ex: Lahyt, Ramel, Dimen
• Fix the broken links for characters who had their names changed without leaving a redirect
• The Sonic wiki seems to have something that makes it so that image files with gibberish names or generic stuff like "IMG" don't get uploaded. Look into that.
• Related to image name files, eventually rename the current images posted that happen to have these same gibberish names
• Change the heights from centimeters to meters instead and maybe add a version with feet for the americans. Ex: 164cm > 1.64m / 5'4 (That's how feet work, right? Look it up later)
• Move the mobile navigation templates from being under the infoboxes to being above them. I should have done that at the start before I made them all like that but oh well
• Finish adding the "201X Character" categories
• On mobile, the images on the character infoboxes appear as weirdly small and square while the ones on the library infoboxes appear normally as they should. Investigate why this happens and fix it
  • I thought it was an image size issue but it seems to have something to do with the mobile navigation bars instead?? They only appear weirdly cropped when they're on top of the infoboxes?? That's really obnoxious

Quick Redirects

• Dead-end Pages - These pages are not linked to.
• Lonely Pages - These pages do not link to other pages.
• Unused Files - These are uploaded files that are unused. Some of these could be added to future galleries? If there's a picture of a character who happens to have a gallery, chances are that it's a duplicate file.
• Old Pages - These are pages that have not been edited recently and may be out of date.
• Fewest Revisions - These are pages with too few revisions, and may be out of date. Do note that most of the ones at the beginning are redirects.

Character Pages

• Write the character profiles (See Unfinished Articles & Outdated Articles) - Any pages with the Imiya and Rust sprite notices

• Write the profiles for the characters in Priority Fix

• BOLD THE TITLES OF THE HEADINGS

• If the Headcanon Voice is a song available on Spotify, add it, like in Zelly's page
  • Check if the song preview isn't just automatically focused on the instrumental, in which case, find another song of the same singer and replace it
• Add Navigation Templates if missing

• (Optional for now) Add descriptions of characters' houses (Note to self - Consider Sims house screenshots? Or would that be stupid?)
  • Alternatively, add screenshots of that one Rust RPG Maker game for his house plant reference, it's still somewhat accurate
    • Or would that fit better in the Gallery pages?

• Lesbian characters should have their Sexual Orientation renamed from "Homosexual" to "Lesbian"
• Character Spotify playlists on the pages?? See Synthia

Character Galleries, Libraries and Videos

• All characters need a gallery page.
• Consider making an extra gallery for the old versions of the characters' designs for those who had more extreme reworks? (Example: Zelly and Blade's old Nightmaren designs)
• Libraries are only for characters who actually have stories in the Library category, no need to create pages for characters who have none
• Same applies to Videos
• Add gallery pages for characters that don't have over 500 drawings each so I can get those out of the way quicker
• Get into the habit of creating the gallery page as soon as you create a character page

Places

• Work on the towns/country pages
• Make up your mind about which regions are countries and which are just towns and such
• Actually draw an environment or two? I promise it won't kill you, Jay
  • If you ever get around to that, consider creating gallery pages for the regions lol who am I kidding
  • Actually a gallery tab could be on the region's main page :) add VN backgrounds when I get more of those
• This isn't Wiki work but please update the map omg
• Create region symbols so there can be a region portal in the main page
• Consider a disambiguation thingy for the region pages? Like uhhh this is the page for X, for characters from this region click here, and it's like a link to the category page or smth

Templates

• Write the rest of the region navigation templates. Current regions missing and the expected colour scheme for each template are as follows:
  • Carnivalley - Circus colours (Red, white and yellow?)
  • Cortaun - Greyscale
  • Eden - Celestial white, gold and blue
  • Porlan - Pearly Blues
  • The Roulette - Black, red and gold. Maybe green? Blackjack board feel? This region needs more characters anyway
  • Amphora's Peak - Beach colours and greys

• Consider a navigation template for Drimare Species?
  • Right back at you, past jay. Check Template:SpeciesNavBox and update it eventually
• Redraw the Layla sprite from the "Trigger Warning" notice
• Notice templates to be created
  • AU - Will be created once AU pages are added
    • Character sprite - Either Mirror!Zelly or Matryoshka!Iron and Blade
  • In need of clean up - For when the pages aren't unfinished, but they're also not THAT outdated, but still enough for it to bother me
    • Character sprite - Shrug, gotta think about it
  • Discontinued Project - For old projects that got discontinued, mainly RPG Maker games. But maybe other stuff like unfinished videos maybe? If I ever get around to making pages for those mmm
