Zelly is a former performer from the Masquerade Circus, a doll-maker and a seamstress currently living in the Rem Forest with her brother Blade.
Their house doubles a small store where she does various sewing related work. Zelly owns a magical scarf which gives her the ability to control and manifest strings, which she occasionally uses to aid in her work.
She seems to have a natural charm to her and makes friends quite easily, but would always rather keep to her smaller group of friends and acquaintances.
Appearance
Zelly is 165cm tall and slim, she has black skin, violet eyes, and medium-short blond hair with a pink ombre. She wears a hot pink scarf, a lavender sleeveless dress with a pink belt and an orange and yellow vest.
She wears pink fingerless gloves with fur on the tips, dark purple leggings and light orange boots.
Personality
At first sight, Zelly appears to be friendly and energetic, she has a big sister vibe to her and is a bossy tomboy at heart, she can have a short temper, but she absolutely loves her friends and would do anything to protect them, being especially close with her brother.
Despite her tomboyish nature, Zelly has no problem indulging in stereotypically feminine things, she has a love for fashion and dolls, as well as a passion for sewing and creating her own designs, which she sells in her shop.
She's very brave and can be temperamental and rude, even pushy at times, however, she is always willing to fight for her loved ones if she finds it necessary.
Zelly is used to being easily liked and can come across as arrogant but deep down, she is quite insecure and doesn't believe she deserves the admiration others give her, often putting herself down and being extra judgmental of herself, despite not showing it.
Abilities
She has no special abilities that she was born with
She's a talented seamstress and puppeteer, and she also enjoys baking occasionally. Her dream is to become a fashion designer, but her ideas leave a lot to be desired.
Her scarf appears normal most of the time, however, she can control it in order to make it look like a pair of hands. At times, it's also seen moving on its own. The nature of how it works is currently a mystery to me tbh.
Relationships
Blade
Baby time
Despite never having met their parents, Zelly and Blade were adopted together and were raised together along with the other younger children in the circus. They were particularly attached to each other to always be together and getting into the habit of referring to each other as siblings.
Being the oldest, Zelly often finds herself being over-protective over her little brother, especially with how prone he is to get anxious, although this same anxiety can also become a source of frustration for her.
They can bicker at times, and have been through a lot together, but they still love each other above everything.
And yes, they keep hearing the "But you guy look nothing alike!" comment regarding them being siblings, and it gets them really annoyed. Maybe because they don't really know whether they're actually biologically related or not, but they just don't care. They're family and that's all that matters.
Zelly being overprotective also causes her to underestimate her brother, which in turn got him used to constantly hide behind her shadow. Yet he also gets easily annoyed when she underestimates him too much.
She also enjoys teasing him relentlessly, which he frequently fights back in general sibling squabble.
Iron
They are really close friends who used to be in a romantic relationship, but broke up over a bunch of reasons, choosing to remain friends regardless. They're a lot closer than one would expect, and it's practically impossible to tell that they ever dated, the topic being something that brings them a lot of embarrassment.
Letting Go
When they met, Zelly wasn't so sure about him, becoming defensive of her brother who Ron became very close with. Eventually she warmed up to him and they became closer friends as he practically became part of their family.
She developed romantic feelings for him and they dated for a few years, breaking up once Zelly realized that Ron had feelings for her own brother all this time and was just in denial about it all.
Strangely enough, the breakup only made them closer as she tried to help him through his issues, not wishing to sacrifice their friendship over something like that. She trusts him and is glad that him and her brother are both happy.
Zelly is almost as protective of Ron as she is of her own brother Blade, and tries her best to look out for them, knowing they would do the same for her.
Rust
Old close friend, they still talk at times
He had a childish crush on her at some point which she did not reciprocate
Things were awkward for a while, but eventually, they got over it and resumed being friends
They still get along quite well
Steam
Steam is an acquaintance and friend, they're not too close but Zelly still likes her.
Zelly met Steam not long after she moved in with Rust and found her to be quite pleasant and was happy Rust wouldn't have to be so isolated all the time. She and Iron threw her a welcome party, which doubled as a pick-me-up for Rust who was more isolated and sad at the time.
Steam and her hit it off quite well, but Steam was still very socially awkward and ended up drifting away. They're more like acquaintances and casual friends who don't speak much unless they're all in a group, Zelly enjoys her company when visiting, even if they don't have much, if anything, in common.
Malice
Neutral, doesn't really trust him too much but doesn't really have anything against him either. Malice implies they were friends at some point and simply drifted away.
Axel
Uncontrollable hate, they will automatically start bickering and fighting if they see each other

They had some kind of rivalry as kids that never got solved
I think Axel liked her when they were children but she rejected him in some stupid childish way and that made him so angry he decided he hated her and she decided she hated him and they just started fighting all the time and being rivals and the rest is history
Azel
Mistakes him for Axel a lot. Gets embarrassed when she mistakes them. She thinks Azel's "ok" and overall really harmless but she doesn't exactly trust him.
Lahyt
Zelly enjoys the company of the friendly forest ghost child, and often indulges Lahyt in conversation when seeing her. Zelly often has her head in the clouds and is prone to getting lost, so Lahyt usually helps her out with finding her way back.

He knows he's part of Iron's family, but she can't help but feel uncomfortable by his presence. I'm unsure if they've actually like, physically met and spoke. Iron doesn't like to invite others too often

- Zelly was the first Drimare OC I made, previously being a NiGHTS OC, created back in June 2010
- She was originally meant to be the love child of NiGHTS and Jackle and her design was meant to be a mashup of those two as well
- Later on, she also took inspiration on Kagamine Rin from Vocaloid (Her brother Blade being inspired on Kagamine Len respectively)

- Because of being one of the earliest characters created, Zelly has also gone through a lot of changes in her design and personality, previously having voodoo focused skills, and later puppetry, which eventually turned into her current sewing skill.
- Her favourite food are strawberries and pastries.
- Zelly is a big fan of cooking and especially baking, strawberry flavoured sweets being some of her favourites to make.
